Winner winner chicken dinner!
This recipe is super easy to make and I can’t believe I haven’t tried it before now! I’ve always heard that soaking your chicken in milk before cooking it makes it moist…well, it sure does!
Oven Fried Chicken
4-6 Chicken Breasts
Milk
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Season All
3/4 teaspoon Pepper
2 teaspoon Paprika
1 cup Flour
- Soak thawed chicken in milk 20-30 minutes before you plan to cook it.
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Place butter in a 9×13 pan in oven. (I put foil in the bottom for easy clean-up.) Once it has melted, swirl it around so that there aren’t any dry spots.
- Mix dry ingredients in a shallow dish (or ziploc bag). Shake the excess milk off chicken and dip it into the flour mixture making sure that it is fully coated.
- Place the chicken in your pan and bake for 45 minutes (flipping after 20 minutes).
***If you like extra crispy chicken like we do, dip your chicken in the milk and flour mixture a second time. (You’ll need to double the flour mixture to do this.) It’s so yummy!!!
The outside was so crispy and the inside was so very moist. Definitely a winner in my book, especially since I didn’t feel guilty about eating fried chicken!
Sounds Yummy! I’ll have to experiment and try this. Thanks for posting!
