Making shakes for breakfast is one simple change we’ve made in our diet and daily routine. I love that we’re starting the day with a healthy breakfast. (Of course, it’s perfect as a snack or even dessert!)
Hands down, Trent’s favorite shake is this Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Shake. It’s so easy for me to whip up and send with him as he’s walking out the door and heading to work. And it feels good to know that he’s having a healthy breakfast that’s packed full of protein and energy…and keeps him full!
Healthy Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana Shake
1 1/2 cups Almond Milk (or your favorite milk)
1 frozen Banana
1 tablespoon Cocoa
1 (heaping) tablespoon natural Peanut Butter
- Place ingredients in your blender in the order listed and mix for 30 seconds, or until smooth.
*If you like your shake thicker, add less milk.
