Psalm 121 - This verse jumped off the pages of the Bible and touched my heart in a way that I knew could only come from God!

I read this passage this morning during my quiet time with the Lord. It jumped off of the pages of the Bible and touched deep into my heart like a soothing balm. As I share this passage, it might be just for me, but I pray that this is for someone else today too!

Psalm 121 is likely a passage that you’ve read before. If it is, re-read it slowly and let the words sink deep into your heart!

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

No matter what you’re going through, God’s got it under control. You may not see His hand at work but He’s watching over your life. He’s the Maker of Heaven and Earth, I think He can handle your burdens! Won’t you give your burdens to Him and rest?
