A dear friend made this Bacon and Cheese Quiche for us after Dalton was born. Since we were traveling back and forth to the hospital those first few days, it was perfect to warm up a slice and take it with us to eat in the car.
Obviously I fell in love with this super simple quiche recipe. Not only is it fabulous for breakfast, but for for brunch, supper or anything in between!
I’m not sure how much easier it can get, folks! Wham, bam, thank you ma’am and you’re quiche is cooking in the oven.
Bacon and Cheese Quiche
9-inch frozen Pie Crust
1 cup Milk
4 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
4 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 pkg. Bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/4 teaspoon Oregano
- Place cooked and crumbled bacon in the bottom of your pie crust and top with cheese.
- Beat eggs. Add milk and spices and pour over bacon and cheese mixture.
- Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
This recipe is super versatile. If you’re not a fan of bacon you could easily use 1 cup of sausage, ham or any other meat.
This quiche looks delicious! I havent had quiche in a long time.
