On Saturday morning my mom, sister (Leah) and kids, and I loaded into the car and headed to Georgia to visit my sister (Charity) and her family in Georgia! Charity knew that we were coming for a baby shower on Sunday, but what she didn’t know is that Leah and one of her close friends had planned another surprise shower – at a local tea parlor – and invited the some of Charity’s closest friends. Thankfully we were able to get her there before she found out, I think she was surprised!
After the baby tea we headed back to Nathan and Charity’s house to find the fun of go-karts and four wheelers. Now that’s more my speed! ;o)
After we coerced him into it, Joel drove a go-kart for the first time. And, although he didn’t seem too excited about it at first, I think he enjoyed it!
I wasn’t brave enough to drive the four wheeler but you better believe I hopped on a go-kart!
Charity’s other baby shower was Sunday afternoon and the ladies from her church gave her all kinds of goodies! I’m so glad they invited us to share in this special time!
Aren’t these baby booty petite fours just adorable? Of all places, she found them at Publix!
One of the adorable gifts that Charity received were these homemade cloth baby books. Not that I frequent a lot of baby showers, but I’ve never seen or heard of these before. Too precious!
What a fun weekend! I just wish it had been longer! Time with family always goes by too fast!
How was your weekend? What fun things did you get into?

Loved seeing all of you again! (even if it was in pictures) You are all beautiful young women, including your mama! Congrats to Charity on her upcoming birth of her son. Candy…you are like me. We are getting our boys through our grandsons!
Ms. Kathy, thank you for your sweet comments. Yes, with only one granddaughter, mom is definitely getting her boys through her grandchildren!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
