One of the fun things I get to do with part of the income from Thrifty T’s Treasures is pay it forward!
Earlier this year I started setting aside a portion of my income to loan through Kiva. It’s a non-profit organization where you lend money to people around the world. This is such a fun way to use my business to help someone else reach their dream. (Check out one of the many success stories above.)
I’ve loaned to four different individuals working on their dream. One has fully repaid her loan and the other three are working on it. As they repay their loans I’m able to turn around and loan that original money to someone else. It is so fun to give!
This giving wouldn’t be possible without you. Thank you for supporting me and my family by continually showing up here at the blog and purchasing through my affiliate links.
THIS Sippy Cup
My sister first told me about the Miracle 350 Cup. (What a fabulous name, huh?) This wonderful creation is the the.best.sippy.cup.ever!
This cup doesn’t drip. No, I’m not kidding. It really doesn’t drip. In fact, friends and family are always shocked when I flip the cup over. It’s quite genius, and every household with littles needs one (or ten)!
Crystal Paine’s Periscopes
Many moons ago, one of the first blogs I ever started reading was Money Saving Mom. Crystal is blogger there and she is the person who introduced me to Periscope. Her scopes are an extension of her blog and there’s definitely something for everyone. She shares morning motivation and book clubs, but my favorite are the tips and tricks for bloggers.
I’m rarely able to watch her show live and am so thankful for the replays on Katch. You definitely need to check out her scopes.
Are you on Periscope? Please let me know what your handle is so I can check out your shows!
I’ve had my Kindle for quite a few years now. It may not be the spiffy Kindle with high-resolution display but I love it just the same. Here lately I’ve been unwinding and relaxing before bed by reading. (I’m currently reading Money Making Mom and loving it!
I love that I can have hundreds of books in one little device. (Am I the only one still amazed by that fact?) Plus, this thrifty girl loves being ale to find free books on Amazon (click on the top 100 free wording) and even through my local library. How cool is that!
Seeing Dalton’s Firsts
It’s so fun see the pure joy on his face and watch Dalton experience his firsts. Whether it be watching a ping-pong ball bounce down the stairs for the first time or the fun of sliding down the slide for the first time, it doesn’t get old.
I’m so blessed to be able to stay home with our little guy and watch these precious moments.
Okay, those are a few of my favorite things. Now it’s your turn.
