Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a hit every time I make it. Prepare yourself for an empty dish because that’s exactly what you’ll have once you serve it.
This easy recipe is perfect as a dessert or alongside side dishes at a meal! You’ll be the hit of the part, family get-together or for tonight’s supper. Ha!
Strawberry Pretzel Salad
2 cups crushed Pretzels
3/4 cup melted Butter
3 tablespoons Sugar, plus 3/4 cup sugar
8 oz Cream Cheese,
8 oz Whipped Topping, thawed
6 oz package Strawberry Gelatin
2 cups boiling Water
2 – 10 oz frozen Strawberries (I used fresh)
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix the pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Press into a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 7 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- Beat together the cream cheese and 3/4 cup of sugar. Fold in the whipped topping, and spread over the cooled crust. Refrigerate until well chilled.
- Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water, and allow to cool slightly. Add the strawberries, and pour over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until serving time.
