A Day of Fishing

Yesterday Trent and I spent our day out on the lake. But instead of having a leisurely day of fishing, our time was spent serving others. This is Trent’s third year putting on a fishing event for kids who have a parent in jail! (You can see the posts from the previous years here and here.) I love how Trent uses his gift of fishing to serve others. This just goes to prove that no matter how you’re gifted, God can use you!

My nephew, Jacob, was able to come with us again this year! I’m so proud of his heart and willingness to serve!

This privately owned property is absolutely beautiful! We are so thankful not only for the beautiful weather, but for the many volunteers that the Lord provided!

I only have one question. How many fisherman does it take to get a hook unhooked from the dock?
